Slow or intermittent internet could cause buffering

If your internet or cellular network is slow, intermittent or unsteady, sometimes you may hear only the background music but no audio of the narration of the Course. This is because you need to be online to hear the narrator audio. The background music/sounds may play because they are cached and stored locally on your device. But the voice audio won't play if your network is too slow, intermittent, unsteady or off.

How can I tell if my network is a problem and not the app?

A message in the app will notify you if your network is offline, slow, or unstable. Sometimes, however, if the situation is intermittent, there are some things you can try.


What should I do?

  • Pause the player. When you have better network connection, tap play again
  • Try switching sections (tap forward or back tracks)
  • Try closing the app and re-opening
